Amid the complexities in today’s modern world, wonder is still a most valuable commodity. We find it in nature, in people, in ideas, and we recreate it in art. Celebrate your source of inspiration at “Muse,” the ARTafterDARK event on June 29 from 6–9pm at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.

Curator Michael Rooks will lead a zip-tour through the Artists of Hawai‘i 2007 exhibition, artist Masami Teraoka will sign books, and Paula Fuga and The Girlas will perform. All galleries remain open, and food and beverages from Tiki’s Grill and Bar will be available. Admission is free for Academy members and $7 for non-members. Park for free at the Academy Art Center on Victoria Street. ARTafterDARK is supported by a dynamic group of young volunteers dedicated to exploring the arts. “Muse” is sponsored by the Women’s Fund of Hawai‘i, HonBlue, and Heaven on Earth.
